The Divine Goddess presented the Maha Sivayoga meditation as an experimental knowledge that leads one to one and only absolute truth meant for self realization. Hence, the Divine Goddess taught this wonderful meditation to Lord Shiva. Then, Lord Shiva understood the meditation and blessed it to Nandhi Devar who then enlightened it to Siddha Thirumoolar. Siddha Thirumoolar (The Great Grand Master of Siddhas) is the one and only ultimate Guru who undertook the journey of inculcating the human kind the spiritual gift of realization. One of his disciple was Maha Avatar Babaji.

It should be crucially noted that everyone who practices the Maha Sivayoga meditation accepts the supreme truth that there is NO human guru, only Siddha Thirumoolar is the ONE AND ONLY ULTIMATE GURU. However, eventhough there is no human guru everyone should be aware that human is only a medium of transfer. Therefore, yes humans can teach each others this wonderful meditation.
